The Conne River Geo-Portal is part of Canada’s GeoConnections Program, which provides Canadians with integrated geospatial information over the Internet. The Geo-Portal is a pilot program to support for Indigenous peoples in the management and control of their own data relating to Indigenous lands, resources and activities. In addition, the project promotes standards and tools to ensure maintenance and updating of geospatial data and compatibility with global standards.
